A very old and very rare practice chanter by Campbell of Trongate. It is of cocus wood and made around 1880.  The ferule is most likely silver but has no marks.  It produces a lovely smooth sound. At some time the cap has split and been repaired.  We're not sure how long ago the repair was made and the glue may not be reliably airtight. For this reason, we recommend a replacement cap be found for extended play.
